MED RICE ONE POT

I thought I put this simple recipe for those who like Rice but simple and easy to.

Goes with vegetables of your choice and meat, fish.

I used Aubergine and Zucchini added in Chickpeas
Plus Sausages or 

Seafood Mix defrosted with Frozen Veg Peas ,Broad Beans, Green Beans


You need Blender or Food Processor.

1 ONION DICED
CARTON PASSATA
TOMATO PUREE/TOMATO KETCHUP 1 TEASPOON OF EACH
RED WINE VINEGAR A DASH
SPICES
CUMIN
FENNEL SEEDS
PAPRIKA
TUMERIC
HALF TEASPOON OF EACH SPICE
CHILLI FROM A JAR
HALF TEASPOON ADJUST TO TASTE
HERBS DRIED ROSEMARY THYME HALF TEASPOO EACH
STOCK CUBE VEG OR CHICKEN
PACK OF MICROWAVE RICE
TIN OF CHICKPEAS

1. ADD SPICES HERBS STOCK CUBE CRUMBLE TO A BOWL DASH OF HOT WATER THIS RELEASES OILS AND GIVES SPICES HERBS LESS CHANCE TO BURN.


2.  TO A BLENDER OR FOOD PROCESSOR ADD ONION, PASSATA,TOMPUREE/TOMKETCHUP RED WINE VINEGAR
BOWL OF SPICES, HERBS, STOCK CUBE BLITZ UP

3. TO A SAUCEPAN ADD OLIVE OIL PORTION OF SAUCE WITH VEG OF YOUR CHOICE SAUTE.

4.  ADD PORTION OF MICROWAVE RICE PLUS CHICK PEAS BRING TO BOIL SIMMER TILL VEGETABLES AND RICE TENDER COOKED THROUGH

5.SERVE WITH SAUSAGES OR MEAT OF FISH YOUR CHOICE  ADDED SAUSAGES TO GRILL PAN THEN DICED THEM UP HALFWAY ADDED TO RICE POT TO FINISH COOKING.

6.DOING THIS TONIGHT WITH DEFROSTED SEAFOOD MIX.  PORTION OF RICE PYREX DISH MICROWAVE FOR FIVE MINUTES ON HIGH LEAVE ADD IN SEAFOOD MIX AND DEFROSTED FROZEN VEG PEAS BROAD BEANS GREEN BEANS.

    I meant to say half teaspoon of herbs of each not TEASPOO.  Silly Spiceman.  It must be the candles in the house, being so poor can not afford to put lights on.

    Having gruel for breakfast again.

    That warm me up.  Having to suck on polo mints to catch my breath.
