We've been told about the following opportunity from the DWP, which we thought might be of interest to some of you. Please get in touch with the email address at the bottom of the post if you're interesting in joining the forum.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has recently published Shaping Future Support: The Health and Disability Green Paper, which asks for your views on how the Government can help people to live more independently, to stay and succeed in work, and ways we can improve the experience people have of the benefits system.

We recognise that people from ethnic minorities may have different experiences of our services. We would like volunteers for a new ethnic minority forum, which will meet (virtually) several times to discuss different aspects of your experience with the health & disability benefits system and your ideas for change.

The first meeting of the forum will be on Monday 11th October, from 11am to 12.30pm.

Please let us know if you would like to be part of this forum by emailing us at disability.consultationevents@dwp.gov.uk by Wednesday 6th October, including “ethnic minority forum” in the title.
