Not unless they claim a qualifying means tested benefit like Universal Credit/Income Related ESA/JSA or Income Support. You can see all the current details here. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cost-of-living-support/cost-of-living-support-factsheet-26-may-2022Looking back at your threads because you're claiming UC then yes you will receive the £650 and the £150 if you're claiming PIP/DLA.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -

Hmm yes, this is the Sun newspaper. A very misleading heading there. If you read further down it does say the following..Please read the link i posted above because it's far more accurate and reliable than a newspaper.
Among those eligible for the help are those on Universal Credit and other means-tested benefits.
They will get a £650 one-off payment starting from July to help pay for things like energy, fuel and food, which have all risen in price in recent months.

Some people will obviously qualify for more than one payment, as Poppy says relying on a newspaper is never a good idea.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

You say you cannot receive means tested benefits. To confirm, did you ever check entitlement to UC while on sick pay?Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Rules may be different in other parts of UK. -

Many thanksWhat’s not clear is if you live with others that are also claiming a qualifying means tested benefit, whether the £650 is per claim or per household.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please.
