How many pairs of shoes does everyone have?
I always think I have none but actually I have so many, like stupid amounts, I just only wear the same one pair of worn out overly comfy slip ons.
I rarely leave the house so don't need all the pairs I have but I can't bring myself to get rid of all my fancy shoes even though I won't ever wear them. I'd like to be the sort of person that gets dressed up and goes out to events and does stuff but I won't ever be so I'm not sure why I keep items that could only be used on those occasions.

I have 2 pairs, one pair of walking shoes and one pair with thinner soles for driving which also double up as my smart shoes.

@Biblioklept it makes a big difference for me, if I really had to I could drive in other shoes but I can feel the pedals through thinner shoes which I prefer. If I drive with thicker soled shoes I keep stamping on the pedals and braking too hard! Lots of people do drive in heavy work boots though, like tradespeople and police officers.

About 3 pairs at moment but swap in seasons like summer and winter etc also going out shoes for smart dress, functions,
-
I have too many to mention which probably need to be chucked, or passed onto a second owner!
I think really I have 2 pairs which I rotate when it's colder, and 2 for the very hot summer months. And a pair for job interviews and the like.
I do also have a spare pair of driving shoes that I keep in the carOnline Community Coordinator

@Biblioklept there is a group on fb who run as a charity they get donations of single shoes mixed size pairs etc
People donate their odd shoes and some shoe companies donate as well
They don't charge for the shoes just postage
So I donate my odd shoes to them
I have had lots single shoes from them
I keep a couple pairs so can put on my prosthetic leg which I'm not able to use at present bit might do one day -
I sound a bit like you @Biblioklept i have far to many shoes that i can not wear now, but i love them and can't bring my self to pass them on ha ha

I love that, what a great charity thanks for explaining @janer1967, it's such a good idea!!

Clarks also do a scheme for people who need odd sizes the only pay half price for the 2nd pair
-
I own 3 pairs of Vivobarefoot shoes (hiking) and 2 Dr Martens boots.

7 pairs of Birks, a mix of sandals & clogs plus 2 pairs of sheepskin boots. All are worn, depending on season of course.
