Why do you think they watching you
-
Just randomly asking, as I’m not sure why my claim is taking lot longer than someone I know
-
No, they don't have a habit of watching someone.winnersneverquit said:Just randomly asking, as I’m not sure why my claim is taking lot longer than someone I know
There's many different reasons why a decision can be delayed. This can be backlogs and individual cases may take longer than others. Timescales are only ever a guide and nothing more.28 weeks isn't really that long. We've got members here waiting 10 months. If you've had your assessment already then once the report is returned to DWP then a decision can take between 2-12 weeks.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help. -
Yes I had my assessment in February and had txt message 4th may saying I should hear in approximately 8 weeks. Thanks for replying
-
That's rather a long time to wait since having the assessment. If your report was in audit then this would have delayed the decision making process.

I’m under pain psychologist & I’m speaking with healthy minds psychologist and there both saying my pain is a major contribution to my depression, I still haven’t heard anything as of yet for my pip claim
-
Thanks for explaining how things are going @winnersneverquit it's positive to hear that both psychologists are in agreement, and hopefully they can work together to help you manage the pain you're experiencing.
It's frustrating to hear about your PIP claim, have you rung the enquiry line for an update lately? If you don't feel comfortable doing this a friend can call on your behalf, as long as you are sat with them.
Here's the number if you feel ready to call for an update on the progress of your claim:
