Just randomly asking, as I’m not sure why my claim is taking lot longer than someone I know

No, they don't have a habit of watching someone.

There's many different reasons why a decision can be delayed. This can be backlogs and individual cases may take longer than others. Timescales are only ever a guide and nothing more.
28 weeks isn't really that long. We've got members here waiting 10 months. If you've had your assessment already then once the report is returned to DWP then a decision can take between 2-12 weeks.

That's rather a long time to wait since having the assessment. If your report was in audit then this would have delayed the decision making process.

Thanks for explaining how things are going @winnersneverquit it's positive to hear that both psychologists are in agreement, and hopefully they can work together to help you manage the pain you're experiencing.

It's frustrating to hear about your PIP claim, have you rung the enquiry line for an update lately? If you don't feel comfortable doing this a friend can call on your behalf, as long as you are sat with them.

Here's the number if you feel ready to call for an update on the progress of your claim:

    0800 121 4433 PIP Enquiry Line.

Let us know how things go if you can, and we'll do our best to support you :)

You are welcome @winnersneverquit. It is the very least you deserve. How are you feeling about leaving it until after the bank holiday and then attempting to ring the enquiry line? If we can do anything else to support you please don't hesitate to let us know  :)
