Hi @essy, welcome to the community!
This guidance on selling/disposing of second-hand disability equipment may be helpful- have a read, and do come back to us with any queries. -
Hi I have read the guidance info, I have just signed up for a property and there is a wheelchair still inside, the equipment centre says it’s not theirs. I just want to no where I can take it. If it will help someone else.

Hi again @essy, how odd! I wonder if Parkgate Mobility in Wakefield would be better able to advise? As you said, it would be great if it could go to somebody else who needed it.

Hi @essy
As you are in the Wakefield area you could try offering the wheelchair to: Wakefield DIAL http://www.dialwakefield.co.uk/services.html , a local charity which rents out wheelchairs to people at a low cost. If they don't want it they may well have local knowledge of where you can take it.
Best Wishes
