I'm good, thank you. I'm having a problem, I need a help. I'm out of job and I want to apply for uc. I'm with my children and partner. My partner and I share the bill in the house. Now she doesn't want to have anything to do with UC. Is it possible to apply alone so I can pay for bill in the house?

Hi again @jaician - Pleased to read you're good, but I'm very sorry you're out of a job. About UC, any income/savings your partner has would be taken into account if you wish to apply for UC.See the government's website for further information: https://www.gov.uk/universal-credit/eligibilityClick on this site's other links to explain more.I don't know if this will help your situation, but, perhaps if you both look through this, it might show this will help you, & your children. As Ails says, please do let us know how you get on. And do just chat here any time.

Hello @jaician1404, as mentioned above, if you're living with a partner you'll have to make a joint claim for Universal Credit. Is there a reason your partner doesn't want to apply?
