Worried

Actually saw a GP today and am being fast tracked (within 14 days) to see a specialist as a mole on my cheek MIGHT only might be skin cancer. Yes i/'m worried but it will be what it will be i've faced worse over the years, but fingers crossed it turns out to be benign.

Sorry to hear that @woodbine fingers crossed it all turns out to be nothing sinister

Hope all is well @woodbine.
I have a strange mole on my arm which grew oddly and they took a picture of it and told me it was a lesion. Somehow the camera can detect what it is, don’t know how. Anyway it was left alone and it’s about fifteen millimetres across these days. It seems benign enough that’s for sure.
Good luck with it.

Hopefully it is not anything sinister. I think they use big caution and book you in for these checks just to be on the safe side, there’s a good chance it will not be anything major but keeping my fingers crossed.

All the best @woodbine
It may just be precautionary, they can't always be certain with moles. My partner has had trouble with them in the past.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Fast tracking is a good thing. It’s ok to be both worried and positive at the same time, or intermittently though. Best wishes.Widow/Mum to a child who is ventilator dependent via tracheostomy, he is deaf and autistic, and homeschooled.
