As I am on the old esa and support allowance I get 2 disabled premiums Inc in my esa allowance but I was told by DWP that as I am on that benefit I won't be going to UC but I want to know as the government is paying UC a extra £20 a week total upto now it mounts to over a thousand pounds so you remember that 2 guys went to the courts and asked why UC was getting the extra £20 every week and they won the battle against the DWP or the government as they said as they was on the Esa old style with the disabled premiums the DWP would not be moving people over to UC and it was not their fault they were not allowed to be on UC and they won the appeal so I read that the DWP or the government at to backdate the payments made the same to people on esa with the same amount as the UC the payments should be paid sometime in July could anyone please tell me if it is correct or was I dreaming it or read it wrong thanks Jason.

As far as I remember, it hasn’t went through court yet, it was scheduled for a hearing in July 2021 I believe, so no news yet and no payments for anyone as no decision has been made.
