I've just been awarded LCWRA. Would I be able to get backdated money? When is this backdated to?

Hi
I was wondering if you could help me please. I have been on universal credit for a long time. Just recently i had a medical assessment over phone to which they awarded me LCWRA to which my payment on top of universal credit starting this week. My query is would i be able to get backdated money, i have been handing fit notes in from 2019 until 3 weeks ago without any gaps. Would it get backdated to when i first handed a fit note in.

Hi there
It's took a long time to get assessment is there a reason for this
You should be backdated to 4th month after reporting the condition -
Hello @jewels55
Welcome to the community, how are you today?
Congratulations on being awarded LCWRA, as mentioned above it should be backdated so that you receive it from the 4th month after you handed in your first fit note.Online Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.
