I hope that it is ok to ask a question about this on Scope?
For years I have said I would donate blood. And today I have registered, and I have been given a date in September to give blood.
Are there any rules I need to know of?
To avoid certain foods before?
I do like to try and look after myself.
I am self medicating with Horny Goat Weed.
I hope you know what that's for...
But also to make my skin look healthier, I take Evening Primrose Oil. Yes men can also take it also.
Would these two natural products hinder any blood donation?
I am also on Allopurinol for Gout. Would this affect.
Thanking you Folks.

My dad gave blood for years even got a badge after 25 years, I tried to but having had jaundice when I was 21 they turned me down for years, I think they might accept me now but I've lost interest.
Good luck.
