Hello, I am a support worker who works as part of a team in supporting people with learning disabilities. We are planning to create a sensory garden with the people we support, and make it a delight for the senses, as well as being wheelchair-friendly too.
So far we've had ideas for a colour changing water fountain, seat-height planters and herb garden, decorative wind spinners, and brightly coloured garden ornaments.
Have you ever visited a sensory garden? What parts of a garden do you enjoy most?

This sounds like a lovely project to be working on @elph
For me, in a garden I'd appreciate somewhere to sit so that I can admire the viewsOnline Community CoordinatorConcerned about another member's safety or wellbeing? Flag your concerns with us.

Different things to feel and touch would be good lots of natural materials. Wind chimes or bird houses could be good for ambience.
