Cerebral palsy adrenaline rushes…

I’ve always wondered if it’s normal for most people with cerebral palsy to get an uncontrollable rush in our bodies? Especially during happy or surprising moments. I don’t purposely do this. I’m thinking it’s something with adrenaline?

There is some very brief research by Dr Allan Colver of Newcastle University, Institute of Health and Society. Suggesting that one of the most common reasons people with cerebral palsy, especially the Athetoid type are prone to emotional difficulties is due to brain damage. [1] When brain damage occurs, pathways and networks that help regulate emotions may be disrupted.
