That's not a bad idea @Ollyoyster! My dad mixes Country Crisp with the cheapest granola, which I suppose is a similar idea

I wonder if there are any other combinations people use to save money @Ollyoyster! I'm trying to think of what else it'd work with...

I buy wine when it is on 25% discount. I look for genuine special offers in shops and buy food on its use by date and is considerably marked down in price. Recently I bought 2 packs of 10% fat British minced beef. I paid a little over £4, and produced 4 portions of mince and potato and 7 of Bolognese sauce. I buy a lot of supermarket own brands. I clean almost exclusively without household cleaners (this can save quite a few pennies and is often easier). I use minimal toiletries and always buy them when on offer. I make clothes last. I never get into debt or pay interest on credit cards. When I need new white goods or electrical equipment I shop around very carefully on the internet. I am not a miser with my money, and I have all of life's little luxuries. I just find it is more fun to shop this way.

Here’s a tip, if you have a mini grinder don’t buy bolts buy studs, ie long threaded bar, and nuts and washers. Two reasons, you can cut the threaded bar to any length and these studs are cheaper than bolts. There, I bet you didn’t want to know that 🤣
