In the year 2022 as we approach Christmas it's a sad fact that tens of thousands of children will be facing Christmas under a roof that isn't their own e.g a family of 6 living in one room in temp accomadation?
Is it right that thousand upon thousands of families will rely on food banks to feed their children?
Is it right that far too many disabled children will be living in unsuitable housing? or that disability benefits are at best inadequate?
What is wrong with the people of this once great nation that they accept these things as the "norm" well into the 21st century ? why do we seem to have moved backwards instead of forwards ?
My message isn't religious or political but we must all try harder to improve these desperate situations as we move forward and say once and for all "Not in my name !"

It’s shocking, totally agree.
“This is my simple religion. No need for temples. No need for complicated philosophy. Your own mind, your own heart is the temple. Your philosophy is simple kindness.”

Yes, it's really upsetting @woodbine
I found Shelter's Christmas advert quite powerful.
