Hi! My child is working at P3(i) level and is using laminated photo cards of objects to make a choice between 2 things. Making some progress here. I'm very keen to try this on the iPad as 1) she is v motivated by the iPad and 2) it will be much better as we could obv take photos on the fly which would be much more useful and spontaneous
Pls can anyone recommend a suitable app for this? Just something really simple and basic that allows you to quickly import photos and define sets of 2 to choose from? Most of the comms apps I've looked at are at a considerably higher level than this
Many thanks

Hi toast, below are links to two options. One cheap and one not so cheap! There are loads of apps that offer choice-making activities so it would be great to hear what others are using. Choose It Maker 3 is brilliant as it allows you to create lots of fun choice making activities.
Please also have a look through previous posts on the technology advice forum here on the Scope site as there are a few posts on ipad apps there too Please feel free to post more technology questions and feedback there as well, would be great to hear how you get on

Sounding Board is free, and would allow you to create simple 2 location grids quickly and easily. One of our students uses it - his brothers quickly create grids 'on the fly' for him whilst they are out and about in town! Although the app is capable of more complex functions aswell, you may find that it is worth a try for the use case you describe.
