Over the years many well known UK brands have changed their names, can you think of any? A few to get you started:
Omo (washing powder)became Persil
Marathan (choc bars)became Snickers
Dime (choc bars) became Daim
Can you re-call any?

@66Mustang It still makes me laugh at a tweet I saw on Hermes. Someone said; "They changed their name to Evri because they lose "evri" parcel"
I know Amazon was to be called 'Cadabra'. As in Abracadabra. But one of the team thought it should too much like 'cadaver'.Hannah - She / Her

@Hannah_Scope ha ha, for us Royal Mail have managed to overtake Hermes/Evri for low standards now though! The posties are always lovely but the general management and service is poor, like "we will deliver when we get round to it".

Hopefully it won't be that way for long!Hannah - She / Her
