Over 15 million people have now watched the ITV drama about the Horizon scandal, I must admit I haven't seen it yet but I have been following the story closely.
It is without a shadow of a doubt the biggest miscarriage of justice in our history, one that so far the govt. is re-acting slowly to even after the publics revulsion at what happened to these people.
We can only hope that those people get the justice and the compensation they deserve, the sooner the better.

@woodbine
It’s shocking what those poor people have went through their whole worlds turned upside down.
I haven’t saw the tv programme yet but I will watch it.
I hope they get what they rightly deserve. 🥲 -
I haven't seen Mr Bates yet, but I've watched a couple of documentaries about the situation. It's terrible what they went through and very sad that it's taking so long to get justice for everyone involved.Rosie (she/her)

I don't have a clue what any of that's about, what's a horizon scandal??

@Biblioklept I may be wrong, but I think Horizon was the name of the software that went wrong.
If you haven't heard about it, there was a problem with some new software used by the Post Office group that led to many subpostmasters being accused of stealing huge amounts of money. Their accounting systems showed up all kinds of errors and many of these people were falsely accused of stealing money. Many lost their jobs, some were jailed for it. Others took their own lives. Pretty horrible stuff.
