Awarded LCWRA today, wondering about the changes in 2025

Hi, I was today awarded LCWRA after a nervous wait for a decision. I have been reading a few posts and one struck me about the upcoming changes to the WCA. Specifically, "These changes will mean that almost all people who are currently assessed as having LCWRA will never face a WCA reassessment again. Reassessments will only take place under very limited circumstances"

What exactly does this mean? So essentially they're saying if you currently get LCWRA then from 2025 you wont be reassessed apart from said limited circumstances. Wouldnt this mean they're likely to make it a lot, lot harder to be awarded, and to reassess lots of current claimants before 2025 to reduce the numbers receiving the benefit? Im worried I'll be reassessed in the next year or so before it kicks in because I know the tiries want as many people off benefits as possible

No one knows exactly what it means yet because they haven't given anymore information. Not only that we have a General Election this year so the changes may not even go ahead. At the moment everything remains as it is.
I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying.
If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.
