Today is the 20th anniversary of Facebook which now has 3 billion users, must admit there are things I like about Facebook (and some I don't) but I do use it.
In general do you think social media a good thing or bad ?

I’ve never used Facebook.
I had used twitter for charity work and to make folk aware of the dog meat trade and helped get funds to go there and rescue dogs a few times. And help with changing the law for police dogs and stolen dogs.
And I sent loads dogs and cat jumpers abroad to charities coping with floods.
Well I could go on. I never used it for anything else.
But I stopped a few years ago because of all the abuse I was getting.
I feel terrible guilty. But I don’t need abuse for no good reason.
I’m sticking with Scope

I use it on occasions same as Instagram. I think there the same company 🤔

I only use it for information on the local area I very rarely post on it

I check it now & then. Never post anything though.
Rarely read comments as they just seem to confirm the levels of ignorance, judgement & hypocrisy in the current society. -
I find groups dedicated to where I live interesting and those connected to my health problems.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

I used Facebook when it first came out, but I haven't used it for about 5 years now. I don't miss it, but I know a lot of people use it to keep in touch with family and friends.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
