    A: When I was a lad a friend and I got picked up by Princess Anne when we were thumbing a lift to Sandringham.

    B: I spent a few nights with an Oscar winning movie star on his Yacht in Marina Del Rey.

    C: I always try to be a good guy, but it seldom works out!

    Today I did 2 things and a 3rd thing which is a lie. Go figure?

    A): I decided to get drunk and go to my favourite fish and chip restaurant for dinner. 

    B): A guy tried to chat me up, so I told him to go away.

    C): I went home and thought I really ought to be a better person!

    @Steve_in_The_City I can well imagine A to be true, I always thought Princess Anne was down to earth, the sort off person who would stop to give someone a lift.
