They started again for selected people about 4 or 5 months ago. It's likely to start back for everyone by the end of the year. Though there will be backlogs i'm sure and they won't be able to review everyone at the same time. They've been suspended for more than 3 years and they were always going to start back at some point. There's nothing really anyone can do. I also claim ESA but i just try hard not to focus my life too much on thinking about what may happen in the future.I would appreciate it if members wouldn't tag me please. I have all notifcations turned off and wouldn't want a member thinking i'm being rude by not replying. If i see a question that i know the answer to i will try my best to help.

Ah ok thanks Poppy, 🙏🙏 I was confused as I read 2025 but obviously they've changed there minds xx
-
What you read for 2025 is changes they may do but nothing has been decided yet and benefits continue as normal.

Hi poppy sorry it's late and maybe I need to start a new thread?but I forgot ask if you know if the wca will be face to face and do I need to get medical records again from the docs my illnesses are the same and more bit do you know if the people that have had then have had to take new medical records or it's just asking how the illnesses effect you still, like pip ? Oh it's confusing sorry maybe I should make a new thread, I just wondered how the people who have had them have shared any experiences? What it's like etc.. Infact yes sorry I'll make s new thread xx

Question answered on your other thread here. https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/110899/new-wca-has-anybody-had#latestMaybe one of the team can combine both threads because it's confusing having 2 threads the same.

Given they currently consulting right now on some very harsh modifications to the WCA, if they hadnt already restarted, they would have been doing soon, so not only is it coming back there is plans to make the criteria much more cruel.
-
Hey @worried33, the consultation is indeed ongoing but it's far from guaranteed it will go through.
Would you like to tell me a bit about how the changes would affect you? Scope are taking such examples to the government and MPs to show them what kind of affect the changes will have. We'd be grateful to hear from you. If you're not comfortable saying here you can always message me, email community@scope.org.uk or fill out this form which will be entirely anonymous.They/Them, however they are no wrong pronouns with me so whatever you feel most comfortable with
