Carers allowance suspended

hi my daughter receives high care and low mobility and I work one day a week! I was advised to apply for carers she under 16

no esa or pip had letter to say I was entitled and was expecting first payment today! Nothing called them said claim suspended no notes so no idea why he’s filled report in :(

just looked at uc statement we get carers element would that cause issue :(

Is the person in whose name Carers Element is in the same person who claimed CA?

Presumably both are for looking after daughter?

So Carers Allowance was claimed for in your name, and you receive Carers Element under UC for her?

Then that isn't the reason Carers Allowance was suspended.

A person can get both CA & CE for looking after the same person. Though there is no financial gain as CA will be deducted in full from your UC award.

As you mentioned "we" I wondered if CE was in a partners name on the claim, which would have caused an issue (one person cannot have two different people claiming carers benefits).

I don't have any other suggestions unfortunately as to why the CA might have been suspended.
