Long time waiting for ADP

I was previously on PIP and got transferred to ADP earlier this year. I did a change of circumstances in February 2025 and have had no updates at all through this time period. I contacted ADP via Webchat and was told it’s with case manager (after receiving my GP SI) and currently discussing this with a health practitioner in regards to the information received and my change of circumstances. I have been worried sick as my blue badge ran out July and I have no way of renewing it until I receive an award.
with pip I was 11 points for daily living and 12 points for mobility.
My health got worse over the years and I updated my circumstances and it’s been stressful waiting in limbo since February 2025.
Has anyone had any experience with it being with a case manager and they are discussing it with a health practitioner?
Thank you

Sorry I cannot answer your question. I just received the review forms for my son's ADP and, if no change, do you literally sign and return and that's it?!
Seems odd.
In fact i need to tell them about an improvement which should lead to his money being reduced - wonder if they'll drag their heels on that situation!
I am appointee for my son (or should i say WAS) i WAS appointee under DWP but this ADP form is addressed to my son (i do hold legal power to open his mail) and there is nothing in there to say i act for him at all.
Will need to call them on Monday I think . . .

yes, check the box no change and return.
If there is a change, they do an assessment again and have to answer all questions on the change of circumstances. So far it’s 23 weeks I have waited for what they call a notice of determination. It’s shocking! They get in touch with your GP and then decide. Seems to take forever. Good luck with everything.

Surely though they keep paying whilst they make a decision? And then, in your case, if you are found to need a higher award, you will get the back pay.
In my son's case, he needs a lower award so will benefit whilst they are deciding.

Change of Circumstances are sometimes resolved fairly quickly but can take time. You will have sent in evidence and your GP has been contacted. Your case will be looked at by a Health Practitioner and a Case Manager, so try not to worry. At least, it is at that stage now. With regards to your Blue Badge, you still have a PIP award, your current award, that will suffice. A Change in Circumstances is classed as a new claim and your current claim carries on while the Change in Circumstances is reviewed.

Yes, you will receive your PIP until a decision is made.
