I received notification that I need to provide bank statements for Universal Credit Review. I have no issue providing the income payment of my wages for which they know already from my employer but why do they need to see itemised payments. I really feel this is a invasion of my privacy. Any feedback would be greatly…

Hi folks I have just had a conversation with someone at UC telling me that he needs 4mths statements for all my accounts. I did this last year. He said they can ask as often as every 6mths. It was so upsetting & difficult to do last time I just ended up in tear on the phone. Any advice? Anything?

Hi, I have had three UC claim reviews in three years. I don’t know if it’s normal or I might be on their “special list”. At the last review, they asked me to send a tenancy agreement but I didn’t have as I have periodic tenancy. I sent everything I could think of to prove my rent but they demanded a letter from my landlord…

Subject: Universal Credit Claim Review – What to Expect? Hi everyone, I’m currently receiving Limited Capability for Work (LCW) from Universal Credit. My Universal Credit is currently being reviewed and I have sent off 4 months worth of bank statements on time. However I am worried about one of the transactions which says 'Automated Credit' and the name and address of the person who sent it. I basically had a casual arrangement where I used a neighbour's house sometimes…

Hi, I am after a bit of advice. We have not been claiming universal credit very long. 6 months. But we have had a review request. My husband is self employed, I have a child under 2 so no work commitments. We actually had made a decision to close our claim. I also don't want to submit my bank statements. I feel like it is…

Hi everyone, I know a lot of individuals are having or have had UC reviews where the DWP demand 4 months bank statements. Current laws state that the DWP can only look into financial accounts, bank statements, if there is a reasonable suspicion of fraud. When asked if you are being investigated for fraud, you are told no.…

HelloHello, We have been asked to provide bank statements for a review this was on the 25th feb. They asked for 4 months and I have went on to my app and downloaded the last 4 months that were available. Obviously they only cover part of February as Februarys hasnt been created yet. Is this corrected or do I have to do it…

hi guys, I had my UC review today and it’s made me realise how much I need to get my head out of the sand. I am the person who is meant to enter my husbands earnings and support him with tax - I have been putting 0 each month because I can not face doing it. Today she asked about a payment which was for my husband - to an…

I had a UC review, I had trouble uploading documents. I spoke to a seriously unhelpful man at UC to request some help. I have just been transferred over to Universal Credit from ESA support group Can anyone tell me if they have any idea how quickly people are reassessed when moving over to Universal Credit. How long do you usually wait before you get a uc review call after you download bank statements i downloaded them tues evening my deadline was today it said my to do is completed does the reviewer have to read through them first before they make you an appointment for a phone call

Hi during standard reviews is your claim suspended. I'm worrying if they take weeks I won't be paid

hello I recently had a claim review because I added another child for child benefits which I didn’t add to my uc journal so I think this is what initiated it all. They then asked me to upload my tenancy agreement which again I hadn’t reported the change in my rent (which had changed a few months prior). I am sharing a two…

HHi, Just looking for some reassurance as im getting v v stressed. I migrated from ESA to UC a year ago. Will I have a UC review automatically now that its been 12 months or are they just done completely randomly? Ie. Could be any time at all, not necessarily after 12 months. And How often do they happen? Thanks

In December 2023 I received a…

Hi. When your total money across all accounts goes over 6k and you declare it, does it trigger a full finances check? (Possibly even a full review) When I was migrated over to UC from ESA, the lady on the phone who did the UC application completion, told me this happens and I'll have to provide bank statements. She…
