Anxiety makes it hard for me to always look on the bright side of things and wondered if we could have a thread with lighthearted problems and the replier finds a bright side to it. 

Things like "it's too hot" and then the next person suggests a positive thing like "less money on heating" and gives their own problem. 
I don't know if it'll work so sorry if it doesn't and they don't need to be serious things even the problems can be silly, but they can be serious things if you want. I think together we could find a positive side to anything.

I'll start:

    Positive: I imagine that could be good for the wildlife in your garden!

    Presumably you didn’t eat it all so you saved on calories! Yay! If you did eat it all well then your cup of tea will taste all the better by comparison.

    That’s good @Starlingbird, the average age of an electric/gas cooker is 13/15 years, you saved a lot of money with your cooker!
