I've been awarded pop but the backdated payment was all paid using 2019 rates is this correct or should they have used the new rates as well

Sorry that should say awarded PIP not pop
-
Hi there
They usually use the rate applicable to the year in which they owe you money -
My claim started October 2019 and I got awarded in December 2020. So what should it be under. Thank you for replying
-
Between Oct 2019 and April 2020 it would be at the rate applicable for that financial year, from April 2020 to present it would be at the current rate, the next increase is from April 2021.2024 The year of the general election...the time for change is coming 💡

So should I ring them and query it?
-
I would
-
Ok thank you for your help
