That's understandable @Ilove2crochet. It's good that you seem to have had a more positive experience, which I'm sure will give other people some hope too

Ilove2crochet said:Thank you for your replies. I have received a text message from DWP saying I have been awarded PIP. I was honestly expecting to be turned down and was preparing myself to appeal it.Congratulations and well done !
I'm in similar situation, i was born without one ear so I'm completely deaf on that side and 40% hearing loss on the other side. Also on to of that i face anxiety since i couldn't hear fire alarm at my home. I applied for PIP in april this year to be told I'm ok and there is nothing wrong with me.. suddenly after 30 years of my life someone over the phone decided I'm completely fine because I know how to use microwave for example.. I just asked for mandatory reconsideration as i will never agree with this decision. Hearing loss caused me also not knowing english 100%, and my speech isn't as perfect as others. I'm ready to battle in tribunal if they will say again I didn't scored enough to get pip.. -
Hi, I'm so pleased for you. I've just received my letter stating they have all the information and will be in touch and no need to contact them. I'm anxious thinking I'm not going to be awarded anything, stress levels high. How long did it take from letter to finding out?

Thanks for replying. No I have not received my letter yet. And someone rang me last week from DWP and left a message stating they would ring back the next day...still waiting!

Oh no, this sounds really frustrating @Stray37. Hopefully, you will receive the phone call soon.
