Posts not showing
A number of my posts have received the 'will show after they have been approved' message. I thought maybe the first has triggered something, it's happened before when I've said a certain word the system hasn't liked, but all my posts seem to be doing it now. How do I fix this?

What's the most unusual or surprising fact you know?
I recently blew my friend's minds by telling them that sharks are older than trees by around 50 million years! https://www.nhm.ac.uk/discover/shark-evolution-a-450-million-year-timeline.html I'd love to hear your interesting facts.

If you could appear on ANY TV show (even Crimewatch) would you do it?
Above. Over the years I've auditioned in person for Britain's Got Talent, Fifteen to One (back when Sandi Toksvig did it) and one of the old National Lottery Quiz shows. When I did BGT they wanted me to pop across to Manchester for the second audition in front of the Judges but Dad wouldn't let me go. Anyway, could you…

Share your favourite abandoned / derelict places pictures here
There is something that has always struck me about this picture, it was a very small picture so I had to use Ai to upscale it. The picture was taken in 1996, it was a mill? on a canal in Leuven, Belgium. It looks like a reflection in a partly frozen puddle or the canal itself, yet the name on the building is the correct…

Something to keep us going...
When things are difficult or threaten to overwhelm you, when you are suffering... what quote, mantra, wise words or perhaps something completely different keeps you from ruminating? If you feel you might lose yourself in a negative spiral, what do you hang on to? What is it that you need for relief? It could be something…

Do you get emotional when watching films? If so what film makes you emotional?
I watched the Barbie movie last night, and I had quite a few tears throughout. Some happy, and some sad. It was the same when I watched John Davidson's movie, "I Swear" not long ago. I wondered, does anybody else get emotional when watching films? And if so, is there any in particular?

Do you still watch kids' shows/movies?
I do, in fact I've got an old Barbie movie on YouTube in another tab, and I've watched Barbie of Swan Lake and Barbie as Thumbelina so far this week, great movies. How about you lot?

A poem called Night Sky
The night sky is beautiful clear as the stars sparkle with beauty and glory and and the stars are filled with hope and possibilities and the stars are our guiding lights to success in our lives in the night sky and lie peacefully calm, bringing an end to any day with the night sky above

Weekly shop costs
I hope none of them will mind that I've "pinched" their idea, but I saw a conversation between @WelshBlue, @SheffieldMan1976 and @SoapySoutar about the cost of a weekly shop, and the suggestion that £58 is expensive. I have a number of dietary restrictions and also rely on some convenience foods, as I find food preparation…

Message for WhatThe
Good morning WhatThe, I have not seen you online for a few days and cannot see a way to reach out to you privately. I hope you are doing okay and please say if I can help in any way. Yuri Gagarin - Anniversary
The media haven't been very forthcoming with this news, perhaps politics has something to do with it? Yesterday marked the 65th anniversary of the first manned space flight, with the 27yo Lieutenant Yuri Gagarin being that man. Whatever anyone thinks of the land of his birth, his courage is evident.…
