@derekjohn I really like your painting, to me, that is a happy, curious butterfly going about its day in peace. I like the colours you used and the precision.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful drawing-the colours you’ve chosen are absolutely stunning and full of life. They instantly reminded me of how wonderfully diverse people are. Like butterflies, we each have our own unique wings-different shapes, patterns, and shades -and no matter our abilities, we all carry beauty and purpose.

Even when a butterfly isn’t flying, it doesn’t lose its brilliance. It still brings joy and wonder just by being. Similarly, even when life slows us down or we’re momentarily grounded, we still hold incredible value, resilience, and colour in our own way.

Your happiness shines through your art, and I hope you continue this journey with joy and strength. After all, happiness is often the wind beneath our wings-a true gateway to health, hope, and healing.

Movement and freedom stood out to me….Like @chiarieds said, I too love how you’ve captured the motion-even the water splashes look so real. It reminded me of how, even in a disabled life filled with limits and when drowned under, there are moments where we rise-graceful, defiant & free.

thank you so much. ,,im not a man of many words. ,more of feeelings , you see things from a different per spective to me ,when i paint im there in the picture as of this one i was in a bout an couid ere the splash , that is me all over so long as i ve my freedom a not both. , take your riches just give me nature. , if you would like me to paint something please say as i do better when following an idea ,thanks for your encouragement. ,,it gives me a feel good factor
