Powerchair users
I wondered if anyone with a powerchair would be willing to disclose which drive wheel configuration they prefer, and why? I am leaning towards a rear wheel configuration, but can see the advantages to both mid and front wheel drive. The Quickie Q700 R is top of my wish list, but why are they so damned expensive?

Accessible/affordable garden fire pits
Does anyone else have/enjoy fire pits? Mine's a truck brake drum. Lay it on its side on top of a pile of bricks 3 high. Put a motorbike brake disc across the gap and you've got a cheap, versatile fire pit that's easy to use/empty and hasn't needed maintenance in 20 years. Cheap parts from a scrap yard, what's not to like?ā¦

Should cats be allowed outside?
This is an ongoing battle in our household. Our adult kids kept our two cats inside after one was run over outside the house and another one vanished into the ether. We now live in a different house with a large garden. It is close to a busy road, down a driveway. The cats have been escaping because my husband has to haveā¦

Prior to the actions of Stonewall Inn on the 4th July between 1965 and 1969 (before any marches) Pride Day Pickets took place. Hi, my name is David6! Does anyone else have problems with Sirva?
Hi to all that have had a problem with a vaccination and found like me that both a doctor and physio had not heard of Sirva. Language; terminology; I have a question.
A public and government funded service (public but not in health care area), offers discounts to people "in need". My quotation marks. They use this phrase a few times in their publicity and yet they don't say who is eligible so it sounds very arbitrary. I queried it with them, they missed the point but that was theā¦

WW3 ?
With Israel firing 100 missiles at Iran today and no signs of Ukraine war ending - I believe that the world is on the downwards path to WW3. If this does happen - our minor issues with PIP will pale into insignificance !!

Does anyone use a (non regulation) 2 wheel electric scooter for mobility?
