Disability benefits
It's a nightmare being on any benefit but disability has to be the hardest or is it because us that are on it need it so much, I've been on pip ten plus years and universal credit possibly seven plus years and as much as I would love to go out to work I know it's not possible.

How Propaganda Shapes Public Perceptions of Disability
“The War against the Vulnerable looms from past into the present with the lies of perception” {full name removed by moderator} The atrocities under the guise of progress, propaganda and policy repeats itself through culture and politics. I am disgusted at how unorthodox stigmatizations of vulnerable classes are…

Tax and benefits
I keep hearing about the burden placed on tax payers by benefits claimants. Why do politicians talk about claimants and tax payers as if they're separate entities? I've paid tax and lots of it. There's a sense of the "deserving poor" and the "undeserving poor" - a victorian social concept being pushed in todays society.…

This seems unfair !
https://www.benefitsandwork.co.uk/news/four-labour-welfare-rebels-suspended Surely MPs opinions can differ from PM, They are there for the people they represent. To suspended them who disagrees with him ,seems a dictorship.

Pip questionnaire
What happened about that pip questionnaire that we had a chance to fill in last year. Thought the government was using that, instead of this Timms report. I don't trust him. He won't consult with disability charity, He has his own agenda. And not in our interests. What I want to know as well. What are the severe conditions…

Hi, my name is RieRie!
I'm 47 with a lumbar spine injury. I'm very worried about what will happen with my benefits as I am unable to work. I have no confidence in the system after my PIP was dropped to standard 6 years ago. The thought of a tribunal is anxiety inducing to the point of just settling with what they gave me. Does anyone else feel…

Disability Benefit Cuts - Take action before July 9th.
On 1 July, MPs voted on the Government's plans to cut disability benefits. Here's what you need to know: The Government have paused their plans to make it harder to claim Personal Independence Payment (PIP). They’ve said they’ll consult with disabled people before making any changes. This is a direct result of the pressure…

A change in the rules?
Having written many things about the reforms now being forced upon us, I would like to ask as a general discussion about sending people back to work who have been assessed by the NHS and in some cases by an assessment company as LWRAG's and the need to go forward in accessing work. I am a Health and Safety Officer or was…

Scope's reply to the governments planned concessions to the green paper.
The concessions to this bill do not go far enough. They create an unfair, two-tier system which will widen the gap in support for current and future claimants as time goes on. We still want to see all disabled people protected from cuts. And we want the government to consult with disabled people on these changes as well.…
