They've called it Your Party, which I think is a nice name.

Apparently the name is just a placeholder for the website according to Sultana, they're wanting to "Name the party through democratic process" So keep an eye on the site I guess?

Here's a link to the website, although I guess if they do eventually change the name the link wont work any more: Your Party

    I've just signed up.

Pinching a couple of seats from Labour, what's the point?

I'm excited for new political parties to come as at the moment we don't have much of a choice. Labour have lost their way. Conservatives can't be trusted. Reform.. well I don't need to comment on them. Theres green party too, but if they got in power I think the whole country would be in a panic as no one would know what to do.

Hopefully we start seeing more choices when it comes to political parties.

I think I would be more concerned about who is in the background funding them

Hopefully a lot more people will leave Labour and join them.

Yes, Ross, but a disgruntled handful, who see no advancement in the Labour Party. Whatever happened to Chuka Umunna and Luciana Berger? OK, the former is a banker, and Ms Berger got a seat in the HofL, but it ended their careers as MPs! Moving to a new party i mean. ( And let that be a lesson to them lol).

@michael57 - Can it be more suspect than funders of the others? OK, not a very high bar, I do admit!

It's the best news I've heard politically for a long long time. Corbyn was slaughtered by the media in 2019 and testament to the nation being completely brainwashed is the fact they chose Boris Johnson.

Welcome back Jeremy. You get my vote

And maybe another term? Look at how an unpopular Emmanuel Macron got in again, just to keep Marine Le Pen out.

But I don't think many would vote Keir Starmer's fake Labour just to keep Nigel Farage out. Instead, they would vote even for the devil in person. Starmer's betrayal is unforgivable. Therefore, a second term for him and his clowns is a big no no, I guess!

I bet he believes that people would still prefer him over Nigel Farage. He's dead wrong. Please don't get me wrong, Farage, a political fraud and hypocrite, is the person on planet earth whom I would vote for.

However, my prediction for 2029 is that there would be a hung parliament which would lead Reform and the Cons to form a coalition from hell.

A hung parliament is a strong possibility.

As the PM, Starmer could struggle on, leading a minority government or scrounge around to form a viable coalition with the Lib-Dems, Green, SNP, and any new party.

This time last year, I thought Labour had at least two terms. Despite some dubious figures, the potential was there for a solid one-nation government. They blew it so quickly.

I've signed up for the new party. The unions are behind them. We an exhausted nation that needs root and branch change.

The affluent 'home counties' and there equivalent are never going to vote for Corbyn. What about the 'blue rinse brigade'?

If I lived in England, i would probably vote for this new party, despite feeling it a hopeless gesture.

I agree, I can't see labour getting another term after what they have done. I think labour will be out the running now for a few years after next election. Its just not labour anymore and completley lost its way and turned its back on people.

I've signed up to it, too. I used to be a Labour Party member until they banned Corbyn from standing as candidate for Labour Party in March 2023.

Bernie Sanders finds it "strange" Labour party "threw out" Jeremy Corbyn from the party

    Correction!

" Please don't get me wrong, Farage, a political fraud and hypocrite, is the person on planet earth whom I would vote for.

I meant Farage is the LAST person on planet earth whom I would vote for.
