Welfare reforms disability cuts
Sir Keir Starmerās former law firm, Doughty Street Chambers, issued a legal opinion warning that the governmentās proposed disability benefit cuts would likely violate human rights law. Jamie Burton KC from the firm described these measures as āhuman rights violations for disabled peopleā and āregressiveā ā criticism madeā¦

Rewriting the PIP rules
This is more of a statement than a question. But is it just me or does anybody else feel that Stephen Tims rewriting the pip rules in effect means that the concessions offered to the rebels are now irrelevant. As new rules mean that PIP will be phased out, any changes will apply to everyone including existing claimantsā¦

Ai Say Government Defeat
I been using various Ai probability platforms and AI is saying the government will be defeated on these changes and a detailed investigation into the failing of this proposed change will force through a fair deal for existing and new claims.

It seems so wrong that the government wants to mainly concentrate on the substantial risk...
category when WCA reassessments begin in or after April 2026. I would've thought people under substantial risk would be the most vulnerable serious cases and so surely we should be left until last or just left alone completely? I'm under substantial risk myself and I'm worried sick.

For e.g. if you are awarded PIP for a 3 year period at or before the end of the period your claim will be reviewed and treated as a NEW CLAIM. Under the revised climb down this could still lead to many thousandsā¦

Welfare Reform 2025
Dear folks, comrades and wonderful disabled people. I say wonderful, and marvelous quite deliberately, very mindfully, meditationally, to foster our collective self-esteem. As I have said a few times in past posts, we disabled and distressed people, can all too easily internalise disabilism, and mentalism, the prejudicesā¦

Welfare concessions
After seeing/hearing about what may now be concessions.I am even more confused as to what this will mean.Does this mean the 4 point rule for pip in a section to qualify will not count?.Do existing claimants still get to keep their pip? Without the extreme stress and worry. Its all very confusing
