Do I need to report a new medical condition to ESA?
Hi! New poster here and feeling very anxious. I currently am in the support group for ESA for my anxiety and depression, which have stayed the same so there's no need to report a change to these. I recently got diagnosed with autism, I was wondering if I need to inform the DWP of this? I'm filling in forms for a PIP claim…

Home visits from care home, will SDP be paid
Hi All, I was wondering if someone could help me, as I struggle to find a clear answer. If a person lives in a care home their daily living of PIP stops after 28 days and so their SDP on their ESA. However, people who are spending nights elsewhere can claim those payments back from PIP for every night out. I wanted to ask…

I understand that this is a combination of CBESA and IRESA (as also receive PIP My partner is my carer). Although it is not mentioned on uprating letters I…

Worried about benefit changes
Hello, as everyone is most likely aware about Rishi Sunak's speech about the manage migration being pushed early from originally 2028/2029 to September 2024 onwards. I'm really worried about being migrated from ESA as I'm in the support group to UC, and then having to pay bills and rent etc. I am also worried about the…

I haven't heard anything yet and wondered do they let you know when they are going to to call? I have already had an assessment for UC and have LCWRA so I know I don't have to go through that again. My latest fit…

Taxable "income" question regarding migration from ESA to UC
I am on ESA, and I think it's contrib. As far as premiums go, I get the enhanced premium (I think this is the low income component), the support group extra, plus SDP.Looking at my latest "DSS / DWP" tax slip for the end of the tax year, I see that my taxable "income" is £6835.50.This amount appears to roughly match up…

Pending payment not showing
Hi everyone. So Monday is a Bank Holiday and I bank with monzo, everytime it's a Bank Holiday Monday I see a pending incoming payment on Wednesday to be paid on Thursday as this is classed as a day early. There is no issue with monzo, could it be that they are not paying BACS this time and paying faster payments? Any help…

IR to New-style ESA
Greetings all, Thanks for any advice, in advance I know this is probably. a silly question but I'm being put under pressure from my brother to decide if I want inheritance money, I know I can't receive more than 16k or my IR ESA will stop but on New-style this isn't the case I'm registered blind and haven't been employed…

Will I have to go through the assessment stage and fill in a ESA50…
