Change in bank reference

Hi,
I receive employment and support allowance and I am in the Work group. I have been in this group for the last 13 years, I’ve never really been bothered by them or had to see a work coach or speak to anyone. I’ve just been left alone. My usual bank payment says EESA I just received my payment and it has been changed to JSA. Is this a cause for concern?
I’ve also been thinking about contacting them to be put in the support group as I think I should be in that group instead of the Work group but I don’t know how to go about doing this or if I should just wait till I move to the universal credit and do that when I get there do you have any advice regarding that?
I’ve also just been through a PIP review and mandatory reconsideration where I’ve been moved from enhanced living and standard mobility to enhanced living and enhanced mobility. Could the payment reference change be related to that amount hasn’t changed just the reference and I’m scared that they’ve moved me to jobseekers group.
Thank you for taking the time to read this and I’d appreciate any help or advice.

It's nothing to worry about. It will be because your payment was made manually and when this happens it usually shows as JSA next to it.
Sometimes when a new decision is made on another benefit such as PIP, it can suspended your ESA. They were clearly on the ball and noticed this so made the payment manually.
You can see the descriptors here for the Support Group. You will need another assessment before this happens and you'll need to ring ESA to report changes to your health condition. They will then refer you for another work capability assessment and you'll receive the ESA50 form in the post.
If you leave reporting changes until you migrate across and your UC includes Transitional Protection (TP) then this will erode if you're found to have LCWRA. (same as Support Group)
If you report changes now and you're already in the Support Group when you migrate across then your UC will include the LCWRA element from the start of your claim. Therefore any possible TP will not erode by the additional LCWRA element.

thank you so much, Poppy! Your advice on this website encouraged me to apply for the mandatory reconsideration and eventually win. So I am very, very grateful for you and your knowledge.
Just one more question before I call them if you don’t mind, would me requesting a review or telling them that I should be in the support group activate my move to universal credit?

You're welcome. I'm so glad to hear that my advice helped with your MR and to have the decision changed at this stage is amazing because most decisions don't change at that stage.
No, reporting changes or being moved to the Support Group will not prompt a move to UC.
