Carers allowance
Hi there I have been awarded carers allowance and I got the letter that I have been awarded but they said another letter will follow after that with payments . How long does this take and my claim has been open since April so how much will I be backdated? can anyone help ?

Paid ESA but not had assessment yet
I'm a bit confused I've been paid a lump sum (I am guessing to back date) but I've only just had the form to fill in for the assessment is this normal or should you at least be notified rather than it just appear in your account?
