Contribution ESA

would my LWRSA stop if my ESA stop or would it continue on universal credit?

If you're claiming New style ESA as well as UC and you're found fit for work then the decision applies to both ESA and the LCWRA element of UC.
Other than that, it's a bit of a vague question because it will depend on the reason why one of them stopped.

thank you, the new style ESA hasn’t stopped yet, I sent in a change of diagnosis from bi polar to schizoaffective disorder and I’m worried they will stop ESA. Not sure what the DWP next step is?

I sent my psychiatrist’s letter, my social worker letter as I’m going into supported accommodation and a audiologist letter so you know and also in hospital.

If you're already in the Support Group/LCWRA then I'm confused why you reported changes. It's nothing to do with a diagnosis and the Support Group is the highest award you can have so a change of diagnosis or a worsening of condition isn't going to get you a higher award.

I just thought when I read the ESA’s booklet that you need to tell them about a change of health condition which is what I have done.

That's very misleading. Not all changes need to be reported and if you're already in the highest group there's nothing to report. Hopefully they won't refer you for another work capability assessment but if they do then you will receive the ESA50 form in the post.

thanks Poppy. I made a grave error and have to face the consequences. I feel so stupid. Let’s see what happens.

Please try not to feel that way. It doesn't help when they advise "all changes must be reported." there are some changes that don't need to be reported.
