Hi, my name is rotaryengine!
Hi, I am 81 years old and have been wearing Sketchers Slip-Ins but although they fit right they are tripping me. I think it is because the outside of the shoe is a lot larger and the sole thicker. The back of the shoe is extremely thick and stiff (I think that is what gives them the slip-in feature). Like a lot of seniors,…

yesterday the carer called the office to get a needs assessment by the Social Service, she took a lot of information and said that now it's a waiting list, and I think she should probably send an int about the acceptance of the application and some reference number, how was it for you?

The Nhs. what is going on.
Having been in a and e yesterday. I was quite shocked at how bad things have gotten. They seemed to be under extreme pressure. V understaffed. Especially with doctors. Also I saw a very mixed bag of amazing competent staff and one who clearly hate the job and can't be assed to try anymore. It's crazy. I just didn't realise…

I'm so bored.
I'm disabled. I can't use my legs or my right arm. This means I can only use my left arm. I'm so bored that is driving me crazy. I have nobody to go out with, I'm so bored of watching tv and I can't go out on my own. I'm that bored that I just cry because I don't know what to do anymore.

I recently wrote a post about UC and PIP assessments, and the information that should be given and what should be received from both the DWP and the assessors and the Tribunal Service by way of Laws, your rights of Information and how to request a Tribunal when it seems that the DWP WILL take 20 WEEKS PLUS to answer…

It was very hard to me as I have social anxiety, but I managed with my husbands support. Our kids were playing together. Then I started noticed that when I see the wife (we live just next…

Onslaught
how does everyone feel about the onslaught on pensioners by the Labour Party. I’ve just watched Angela Rayner defending the right to a warm home, but changed her tune when she got in power. Looks like the single council tax allowance will go too. Maybe the railcard and bus pass are next. Or the paid prescription service.…

Minor Changes to CHC Package
Hi, Apologies if this is the wrong section to post in. Got a question or two about "minor" changes to a Continuing Healthcare (CHC) package. Some background: This concerns my mother, who is 77 years old. In 2017, she complained of a bad back and fever, consulted the GP, who prescribed morphine for the pain. 48 hours later,…
