PIP award randomly extended.
I recently won a PIp reasessment and was awarded until March 2029. Today I got a letter saying they have extended it until march 3031. Obviously this is good, but why did they do this? Also is it true that if you win a PIP claim you no longer need an extra assessment for UC?

cost of GP letter
Hi, I thought this important enough to open a new discussion, before folk spend what they needn`t. I recently applied for PIP and read `don`t pay for any letters/reports from health care providers....if we want that, we`ll obtain it` in the PIP claim notes. I had asked about it at my GPs previously and was told it would…

PIP Award - grateful, validated, exhausted, confused, guilty
I was awarded PIP on 22nd July - enhanced across both Daily Living and Mobility - following a 2.5 hour telephone assessment on 16th July. I’d already requested and read the assessor’s PA4 report and so I had a good idea I might get it. I’m incredibly grateful and feel very lucky given the endless horror stories of people…
