Hi everyone,
I receive full pip benefits and just found out they are taking £100 a month ****. Pip helpline can't help they tell me to go to benefit deductions online with no number ahhhhh. I have no clue what this is for?

PIP isn’t means-tested, so they can’t take money directly from your PIP. But if you’re getting another benefit like Universal Credit or ESA, they might be taking money from that to pay off a debt — like an old overpayment or advance loan.
Here’s what you can do:
✅ Check your payment statement (especially if you’re on UC) — it’ll show any deductions and what they’re for.
✅ Or go to this page and log in to check what you owe: https://gov.uk/manage-benefit-debt
✅ You can also call DWP Debt Management on 0800 916 0647 and ask for a breakdown of the £100/month deduction.
✅ If it’s too much, you can ask them to lower the repayment amount because of hardship.
