Poem called stars
Poem called stars With our individual qualities and talents. It is time that we shine like the stars we are. Sparkling in our beauty remember to let our talent do all of the talking instead of our verbal communication is not as effective and remember to keep raising the bar which shows how far we have come in our pursuit…

Anyone else concerned at Daily Mail news??
https://mol.im/a/13012055 implies that UK will implement conscription within 6 years unless Putin is defeated in Ukraine. I am 60 now and would not be affected directly by this but many of my friends would be....

Is this right?
So I am feeling a mixture of emotions this week as I tried to make my son's birthday perfect. I saw that the BBC experience was on and closing in February. So I quickly checked accessibility then booked tickets for an adult and a carer. The next day I announced to others I booked it and the feedback was bad, "it's only…

Lost my volunteering for policy until new year.
I was just about coping with life by volunteering at a day centre for young adults. But now they have told me they have to look through a volunteer policy and will be in touch in the new year. This leaves me with no where to go . I’m a wheelchair user but push myself not as far since tearing my rotator cuff off the bone.

Burns Night! A poetic celebration.
Hello Scope Community! Tonight is Burns Night, a date in the calendar of many Scots,
a day to celebrate the most celebrated Scottish poet Robert Burns. For those
who don’t know it, I hope to explain a little about this wonderful tradition I
picked up while I lived in Scotland. [A portrait of Robert Burns, from his chest…

Wimbledon's accessible seating reaches new lows!
You might think this is a bad thing from reading the title of this post, but rather excitingly, for those of you who are tennis fans, Wimbledon 2023 will be more accessible than ever! As a long-time fan of the sport, and being lucky enough to visit almost every year since 2009, it's always been a bit of a shame to me that…

Poem called winter sunlight
Poem called winter sunlight The winter sunlight shown weakly. The wind had a bitter bite to it as cut the skin on face as a cold chilling wind blow as the trees were unable to stand up to the strength of the wind as I drove through my local park. The lowering sunlight made impossible to see who was coming from the opposite…

What things get your goat?
What things do you hate in life? What really annoys you. I hate the smell of cooked food last lingers up to half an hour after its cooked. Can't stand it, it's off putting.

What's the oldest thing you still own?
A difference from the most expensive thing you own. What is the oldest thing you own? For me it's something a little silly, I still have my very first stuffed toy. A small yellow rabbit that is named "bunny". I think I was 2 or 3 when I got it. It only has 1 ear left now, the other has been lost to time. As another…

Your posts will appear when approved
Seems I cannot comment on some posts but I can on others. Now, if my posts jump on a few times on one thread, it's because I tried to comment a few times on one post, it's not me being blonde :#
