New ESA letter with mysterious income
Today I have received a new letter from the DWP slightly adjusting my ESA down by 56p per week, referring to additional money coming in of £14.93, I don't know what that is, could this be the winter fuel payment or something? Am not really bothered by the amount, it's not like I am short £2.24 per month, if I was short it…

Hi all, I am in the support group for ESA and I have an opportunity to work self employed a couple of hours tops a week selling books online. Can I claim new style ESA/ when to do it?
I currently have UC and in the LCWRA group. I also have PIP. I was told years ago by my work coach not to claim ESA and that the new thing is LCWRA in UC. My boyfriend and I are thinking of moving in together when my contract comes to an end ( in autumn). However, he has savings over 16k so my understanding is I won't be…

Will I be forced to claim Universal Credit if we separate?
Hi. I am currently in the Support group on the enhanced rate. The claim is in my name, as with my housing & council tax benefits. When my partner moved in as my carer, they just added him, but all the paperwork remains in my name. They then gave my severe premium to him, as carer's allowance. I need to know - if he moves…

Transfer from ESA to UC question
Hello. I'm new to the forum and just wanted to ask a question. I'm currently in receipt of ESA but will obviously receive a Universal Credit transition letter sometime this year. I was wondering if I will be subject to the harsher rules when this happens, or if I will be classed as an existing claimant being moved onto UC?

Missed out?
My partner and I claimed ESA jointly years ago. Now I realise I might be wrong: Living expenses: for me and my partner. Extra money: because we are both disabled. But why am I only on the Support Group, not my partner? Was this missed?
