Reporting New Condition, Medication and Therapy

Can anyone tell me if I'm going through appeal for esa will I be paid assessment rate. Dwp stopped it but I've read different stories that once dwp get notified I'm appealing they should start my payments again as I did request this on appeal form and I have a valid fit note until end of September Thank you
