Universal Credit Review Taking Ages

Hi All

I have Primary Progressive MS and have been on UC for a long time. Just last month they said they were doing a review and made a telephone appointment. I spoke to the gentleman from a call Centre who asked a my personal security info then he said okay we need four months banks statements by 10th of July. That was fine, I sent them a message on my journal that my latest bank didn't arrive until the 2nd of July they said fine and I sent everything off. I thought that was it they sent a message saying bank statements complete. Then on 28th July I get a message from a different person, she says my review has been transferred to her UCR and she is now doing the review. Then nothing for 2 weeks, then yesterday I get a journal message with booked telephone appointment for 30 mins next week to discuss bank statements and further evidence. My question is this normal?

Thanks that helps still doesn't help with the fact they make you feel like you've done something wrong when all you do is survive.😒

I know, the reviews are horribly intrusive I felt humiliated being questioned on my spending when I had a review 3 years ago 😢

Especially as it should have been obvious why I was making payments to Octopus Energy etc!

Hi @jasonsdestiny and a warm welcome to the community from me!

That sounds pretty standard. Reviews and UC can definitely be a frustrating process, you're not alone in that, it can all be quite taxing.
