Hi there,

I just had my review in the past two weeks. First I have received a request in my to-do-list to upload all pages of my passport and some basic details and documents, for example a bill with my name on it at my current address. I have peripheral neuropathy on both hands and they do not accept scanned documents and really struggled with it, then got rejected and reeived new requests. I pushed through, a week later (22nd of July) I was scheduled what it was meant to be a ID confirmation; proving I am the claimant etc..turned out to be a 28 minutes in depth questioning about previous addresses, my evisa, more documents etc
I have nothing to hide but immediately panicked like what if I say something stupid :D She was nice, but distant but the pressure was there on me. She also asked my consent to contact my GP and if needed my landlord (housing association). Then I received more and more document and PHOTO requests. I had to take pictures of mestanding at the entrance dor of my building, door slightly open, building number shown, I could only do it by sitting in my wheelchair first as our entrance is very heavy and the building number is literally on the glass door itself, but then I set my phone on a small lamp, it was a nightmare and people passing by where looking at me like what the heck is this weirdo doing :D Then I had to take a picture of me at my flat door, door slightly open, managed to put the phone on the fira alarm box and stood with the help of my walking stick. But then that wasn't enough so I had to take a picture inside, making sure one of the windows were behind me so she could see the surroundings. Then more documents, bills with my name from previous addresses, PIP letters, proof of my evisa, took me hours but I managed everything. She acknowledged that every uploaded photo and documents were by standard so now I am waiting on her decision.

About me; I'm turning 41 in August, I've been suffering from stage 4 endometriosis with digestive system comlications since I was 17, but in 2018 i got the diagnosis of grade 2 spondylolisthesis in my lower back which is now grade 3, I have just been diagnosed with fybromialgia and haemochromatosis and most likely they're going to start herapeutic phlebotomy (blood removal) soon. I also have carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands for over 2 months now which is causing me peripheral neuropathy. And osteoporosis and osteopenia in several bones, this is most likely caused by fibro. Haven't been able to work since 2020 on UC and PIP since, and unfortunately all of my conditions are deteriorating since I had my first COVID vaccination (I was one of the first people who received the test shot).

Anyone else had a follow up like I did? I found it odd as every time I moved I reported and proved the new address, same with health issues etc.

That sounds like a lot @DaffL! I'm not too sure what triggers these in-depth reviews I'm afraid. Sometimes it can be that they system has flagged something. For example, if you struggled to take clear pictures of the documents that might have raised some suspicions even though you had a good reason for it. It's really tough to say! Whatever the reason, I'm sorry you had do deal with all that, it all sounds really difficult!

It'll definitely be interesting to hear if any more of our members have experienced something similar.

It was weird yeah,, but eventually about two hours ago just got the message in my Journal that all good, no further actions needed.
