A poem called The Moon
The moon is bright and a wonderful sight and it is at a great height. The sweet sight of the moon instead of the winter gloom. Our glorious friend the moon. It watches us sleep while the shadows are deep the moon. A silver promise drives us to the moon. Through the clouds it will glide with a sense of pride, like the moon…

Dog hates going out in the dark
my little maltese is 6 in March this year, she loves being out during the day,but as soon as it's dark at night she refuses point blank to go for a walk, she will walk so far, then stop still, even when I use a torch, so any time after 9.30pm is a no go, so she will come back into the yard to do her night buisness, anyone…

What Type of Diet Have People Gone On After A Tia
Hi, this is a strange one. I had a TIA around a year ago. I was rushed into hospital with a TIA. I was seen by three doctors and two of them were stroke consultants and one was the head consultant. I was very scared. But when I was sent to the TIA clinic around a week later, even though I was so week and tired, I was told…

Pareidolia - Seeing faces everywhere 🙂🤨😏
Has anyone else heard of pareidolia? It's the ability to see faces in random objects and it happens to me all the time. It's actually quite annoying sometimes! I'd love to see your pareidolia pics, and wonder if there's anyone that doesn't see faces in everything? Here's mine, a grimacing monster egg carton!

Ikigai
I know many on here are unable to work, but for those who do, even if you do charity work, study, activism or anything else that vaguely resembles work, I think this is a nice concept to look at. I am not in work but the subjects I am studying put me into the “passion” section. I was previously studying a subject that…

Winter Olympics 2026 🏅
I'm not usually much of a sports person, but I found myself drawn into the Slalom Snowboarding yesterday and I couldn't stop watching! The speed and precision of the athletes was very cool to watch. I've also been seeing memes and clips on social media of how they prepare the ice for curling. There's a short (non meme!)…

Poem called Sparkle
Poem called Sparkle The glistening ears that had so much sparkle in them. Those eyes filled with sparkle when we reach our success—when our eyes fill up with sparkle. The radiant eyes that were filled with such a special sparkle of hope, resistance, and love; through the hidden eyes that continued to have that sparkle in…

I wish...
that food never went off. I do a big shop and try to plan my meals but inevitably I plan wrong and something ends up going out of date. Imagine how little food waste there'd be!

What is 'housebound'??
Do you think of yourself as housebound?? I used to consider myself housebound because I couldn't leave the house at all, but now I get out for occassional walks and to some medical appointments, although I can't do it reliably or regularly and still consider myself housebound but think I probably shouldn't anymore! It made…

If you were to teach something you’re good at, what would it be?
For me, I'd teach piano as I've been playing since I was very young. I tried to teach my son but he had little interest in it. I'm hoping my daughter will be different! She's 1 and absolutely loves her little instrument box, but it's maybe because she gets to hit a drum and make a loud noise 😂 What would you teach?

What Is Your Perfect Sandwich? 🥪✨
I had a delicious moment during my lunch break that made me think I've found my perfect sandwich. It was tiger bread with Branston pickle, cucumber, lots of crunchy fresh lettuce, tomato, red onion and quorn veggie ham slices cut into 2 triangles. The shape does make it taste better! So now I'm curious…what's your perfect…
