Good Grief! Celebrating Charles M. Schulz and Peanuts

Charles M. Schulz created the wonderful comic strip, Peanuts, in 1950. It's become one of my favourite cartoons and I love Schroeder's amazing music - it's amazing how he plays so beautifully on that toy piano!
Charlie Brown
The main character is a sensitive boy who takes his role as baseball manager seriously. Schulz wrote him as the average person who is more used to losing than winning. He said "winning is great, but it isn't funny".
Snoopy
The amazing beagle with a fantastic imagination. He can become the Flying Ace using his doghouse as his plane, or Joe Cool, the big dog on campus.
Lucy
5c for psychiatric help! Lucy is confident and stands up for women's rights. She looks out for her brothers, Linus and Rerun, and has an unrequited love for Schroeder. Schulz used Lucy as an outlet for his sarcasm.
Schroeder
My musical inspiration! A down-to-earth musical genius who was playing piano before he could walk. He loves a Beethoven sonata but is often interrupted by Lucy!
Peppermint Patty
For Peppermint Patty, sports are her life. Studying is not important but she does like to contemplate life and has a more sensitive side. She also have a soft spot for 'Chuck' ❤️
Are you a fan of Charlie Brown? Do you relate to any of the characters? I think I'll be watching it tonight 😊

I'd always seen myself as a Schroeder, but the older I get, the more I relate to Charlie Brown. Hairline included. 😆

You are both aware that Schroeder is not a real pianist or even a real person - and is just a cartoon character ?
And the music that "he" plays on his "toy piano" is not really being played by a 6 year old boy ?
Only Snoopy himself is a real dog.

@Wibbles 😂 We can pretend! Imagine having a dog like Snoopy, it'd never be a dull day!
