Can an Italian woman who does not live in the uk be my carer?
I need to know how if my Italian girlfriend can move over here to be my carer. She cares for me now but is moving back to her home country. Can she move here to be my permanent carer and get the carers benefit if she is not a resident of the UK?

Do you need a diagnosis for PIP?
I currently work within the emergency services and have had repeated symptoms of depression and anxiety for over a year now and it got to a point last year where I was suicidal and made attempts on my life. I gave myself a couple months to improve taking sertraline which I didn't think help much while on sick leave and…

New here. Could do with help finding a representative for a PIP tribunal
hello, I’ve been on pip a few years both. I did a change in circumstances and I’m confused as to why my progressive conditions would change me from a long award to a 12 month? I’m on enhanced mobility. But scored 0 on a couple of parts in daily living where I’ve stated with help of evidence about how my condition affects…

How likely is it the DMs will go against the assessor?
Hi all, I just had my assessment and got the assessor report which recommends standard DL and enhanced Mobility. I have 8 points recommended for DL so I'm wondering how often DMs go against the report as it'd be easy to knock me out of getting an award if they wanted. Worrying about this a little! Thanks in advance

PIP underpayment after review but not received payment
PIP award letter received says: 'We may owe you money. We will write to tell you about this'. It is 3 weeks now but I still haven't received a letter or payment. I don't owe DWP any money and haven't been in hospital. I don't understand why there is a delay. I tried calling PIP but was cut off after waiting a long while…

Reclaiming PIP
Hello everyone, I have just joined the forum. I tried to claim PIP a few years ago on my own and got 0 points. I have decided to claim again with the help of a disability advice centre. They have just phoned me and said that it was not worth claiming again as I have no new diagnosis. I thought it was worth it as the DWP…

Hi Can anyone here please advise as best as they can because I am so confused. My dad has been on PIP enhanced since 2018 as he has heart failure followed by a mini stroke. He already suffers from epilepsy, which he’s had for years. His last award was due for a review this October (2024), but he got a letter at the end of…

Does the lack of a PIP Portal show DWP has failed to comply with the PSED?
As we are seeing stories about DWP reviewing PIP claims, it occurred to me that I can't remember what points I got in what element (award at start of tribunal when DWP PO re-assessed my claim). While I can find every other piece of correspondence I can't find the award notice (assuming it shows the break down). A quick…

Pip Tribunal
I wanted to say Thankyou for keeping me calm and informed throughout my pip journey. It’s been a stressful and long process. 18 months in total I had my tribunal today and it was awful.
